Our Story

Moore to Christ Ministries was founded on October 26, 2021 by Pastor Shantae Moore and her husband, First Man Brother David Moore.  The doors of Moore to Christ Ministies were opened on January 2, 2022.

 

Pastor Moore began her journey with the Lord at a tender age and has continued to grow in Him every since.  In 2011, she joined Psalms Ministries and began studying under Dr. Pastor Domeka Kelley, her Pastor, Spiritual Father and Mentor.   She delivered her first sermon on June 12, 2017 and became an ordained Pastor on January 12, 2020. 

 

Since then, the Lord has given the Moores an incredible vision to help build the Lord's kingdom and grow the ministry by submitting whole-heartedly to Holy Spirit and following his lead by fulfilling the Great Commision as His disciples.   Moore to Christ Ministries is a church of love, faith, acceptance and appreciation in which Jesus Christ is the center of all we do.   We operate as a family, as brothers and sisters in Christ.   Moore to Christ Ministries aspires to be a pillar in the community where all are inspired to live a life with Christ.  The vision for Moore to Christ Ministries is to be a multi-cultural and multi-generational church where we are growing together, uncovering who we are in Christ, developing our relationship with Christ, unleashing our spiritual gifts, teaching and preaching sound doctrine where we are transformed into the best versions of ourselves.  We are just getting started and there is so much more in store!  We welcome you to be a part of our journey, our story, one soul at a time!

Pastor Moore and First Man Brother David Moore, Sr. have three sons, four Godchildren and one Grandson on the way in which they are honored to build a dynamic legacy in the Lord.
